This week for the Juniors, it was double points.  When the green flag flew it was Josh Wood with a slim lead over Dylan Dexter.  As the laps started to tick off, Wood was able to walk away from the rest of the field.  Making the charge through the field was Justin Walts.  The main battle on the track though was for the second position between Dexter and Makayla Lucia-Perry.  Holding onto second was Lucia-Perry.  This was good news for Wood, who went onto take down the win.  Rounding out the top five was Lucia-Perry, Kara Franqueza, Dexter and Walts.

In the Novice, it was Randy Higginson taking the lead.  Right behind him battling for position was Dylan Irish and Corey Lemelin.  Managing to hold on to second was Irish.  By half way, Irish was breathing down Higginson’s neck for position.  When the checkers flew, it was Higginson taking down a slim win.  Rounding out the field was Lemelin, Ryan Fujimoto and Irish.

Out next were the Turquoise karts.  Taking command of the 11 kart field was Cullen Pike.  But Pike didn’t have it easy.  Kyle Smith and Katie Lafreniere were challenging for the lead.  Smith though was showing the most pressure on Pike.  But due to a caution Smith was sent to the rear of the field.  Quietly making his was to the top was Ryan Irish, who managed to move to second at the half way marker.  Walking away from the event though was Pike.  When all said and done it was Pike taking down the win.  Rounding out the top five was Irish, Smith, Alex Blanco and Lafreniere.

In the Lites, six karts took the green flag.  Managing to take the lead was Richard Blackner.  Right there on his tail though on the restarts was Dylan Campbell.  Campbell though couldn’t keep up with Blackner.  Quietly making his way up to second was Steve Rockwood.  Rockwood, who made a late race move, wasted no time at challenging for the lead and was able to take it.  But Rockwood wasn’t able to hold on to it.  Blackner went on to take down the win.  Rounding out the top five was Rockwood, Scott Kalber, William Coons and Campbell.

Next was the Heavies.  Leading at the drop of the green was Justin Dube.  As he took the lead, the field spread out very quickly.  Trying to put pressure on the leader was William Tack.  Tack though couldn’t manage to keep up with Dube.  Keeping a low profile though was Jake Sapowsky who managed to take second away from Tack.  When the checkers flew it was Justin Dube visiting victory lane.  Rounding out the top five was Sapowsky, Tack, Matt Rzewnicki and Shef Robotham Jr.

In the 2-Strokes, it was another two kart battle.  Dueling it out for the win was Ernie Whidden and Roger Angers Jr.  Taking the lead at the drop of the green was Whidden.  But Angers wasted no time at taking the lead.  But Angers ended up spinning out giving the lead back to Whidden.  When all said and done it was Whidden taking down the win with Angers in second.
